Alexander Marine Australia are pleased to have SOLD the 2009 Grand Banks 47 Europa 'Lady Cooinda'.

She was a one owner vessel built by the coveted Grand Banks shipyard. The 47 model was designed by the famous Sparkman and Stephens design office and was an evolution of the Grand Banks 46 Europa model. ‘Lady Cooinda’ was delivered new into Australia in 2009.

‘Lady Cooinda’ offered a combination of classic luxury you expected from Grand Banks with a surprising turn of speed when the need or desire hit. This well-maintained Grand Banks had up to date mechanicals and only 425 hours on her twin QSC8.3L 550hp Cummins engines. Her bow thruster assisted the docking process making this vessel a breeze when shorthanded or skippering alone.

Accommodation consisted of a two cabin two bathroom layout with loads of storage for you and your guests to enjoy extended stays aboard.

Piloting the vessel from either the flybridge or lower helm station. The flybridge was a spacious arrangement with plenty of seating, a wet bar and the all-important ice maker! The lower helm station was a welcoming haven in certain weather conditions offering outstanding visibility. Adjacent the lower helm station was the portside galley – handy if in need of a snack. In terms of natural ventilation, or quick access to the wide walk round side deck, the starboard pilothouse door out onto the side deck was yet another winning feature of this ever practical layout. Whether to lend a hand with a line or simply pop on the kettle, you were right there!

Moving around this boat at sea, or simply anchoring up, was a dream with the wide walk around side decks. Safety and style were combined in typical Grand Banks art form.
