Alexander Marine are pleased to have SOLD this 2019 Alaska 49 Sedan.
Stepping onto the teak-laid swim platform you'll immediately notice the Freedom Tender Lift. With the push of a button the RIB raises up from the water and you're ready to get underway. An ADC davit has also been installed on the hardtop creating a second home for the tender allowing for serious bluewater cruising. A transom gate opens into the expansive cockpit of the Alaska 49 where you'll appreciate the evolution of the luxurious indoor/outdoor living design. A closer inspection of the teak cockpit confirms the clever lifestyle and storage designs that are on offer. With a large forward-facing transom L-shaped lounge, it is positioned aft conveniently to portside around a convertible cherry wood table. Adjacent to that is a 2nd lounge that allows seating for up to (8 guests).
Beneath the saloon stainless wide glass hopper windows, an isotherm refrigerator, icemaker, and solid surface benchtops with a sink and hot and cold water. Entry to the salon is via stainless steel framed, bi-fold, sliding glass doors and opens into a full forward lounge and galley space. The separation between the aft saloon and forward galley is through gloss cherrywood timber half 'bulkhead' overhead lockers these are high enough to not impede visibility from anywhere inside.
'Matilda's' entertainment unit to starboard complete with an electric lift 40'' TV, opposite a C-shape lounge and hi-lo dining table. This can also be converted into yet another accommodation space. The galley with Corian benchtops, has a fridge/freezer combo and overhead lockers to starboard, with the main L-shaped galley and prep area to port. In the soft-touch helm area, an extra-large helm seat has dual access, from either the saloon or sliding bulwark stainless doors out onto the side decks giving cross-flow ventilation and making access to the bow a lot easier whilst retrieving an anchor or picking up a mooring buoy in a secluded bay.
Accommodation revolves around a popular two-cabin and two-bathroom layout. The accommodation forward sees a conventional V-Berth configuration offering 2 x king singles that with the insert of a filler cushion make up a huge queen/king bed. A day head separates the cabins, with the master cabin amidships having a spacious island queen-sized berth with an ensuite. This has a full-size shower, Tecma quiet flush toilet, large vanity with raised bowl and teak and holly sole. Every cabin and head has a deck hatch to allow fresh air to flow through the lower cabin area. Upgraded options include a Quick MC 2 Gyro stabilizer - Freedom tender lift - Watermaker - Southern Stainless Cookout BBQ - Baitboard - Cockpit mesh covers - Acrylic cockpit wing doors - Transom docking station + Dockmate wireless docking controller.
