DESCRIPTION & DETAILS

Alexander Marine are pleased to have SOLD this World Cat 320 DC.

World Cat was the largest producer of power catamarans in the world and pride themselves on bringing a boat to you that offers a smoother and more stable ride. Boating is meant to be a pleasurable experience and thanks to World Cat's Vectorflow hull design on the 320 DC, bruises and sore backs from rough rides are eliminated as air and water were channeled between the hulls creating a cushion. The great news is, that the faster you went, the smoother she got.

Signature features of the 320 DC, are convincingly comfort, performance, seaworthiness, and versatility. On Saturday you could be cruising calm waters in style with your family, and on Sunday heading offshore with a few mates for a spot of deep-sea fishing such was her versatility.

Her sportsboat feel and controllability was achieved by twin low hour, 300hp ever-reliable Yamaha four-stroke outboards (which had just been serviced). She had recently been installed with an Optimus 360 Joystick Control Docking System for manoeuvring around the dock and or approaching or departing the fuel wharf! Performance around and away from the dock was an uncompromising asset of the World Cat 320 DC.

Stepping onboard, you immediately recognised how deceptive the size of the boat appeared from the outside. Her wide 3.3m beam significantly promoted spaciousness from the swim platform with her super practical and robust stainless steel dive ladder, all the way through to her open bow with comfortable day lounges. Access was also possible - off the dock or when sliding into the water - via the sturdy starboard side hinged marlin door.

The raised bridge deck was protected by a study and beautifully finished hardtop with twin overhead hatches and a large opening in the windscreen which combined permit plenty of fresh air. Note also the boat had air-conditioning as well which was particularly welcomed when having a nap in the portside guest cabin. The hardtop offered good headroom for the skipper and guests. Keep dry on rainy days or when sea conditions deteriorate by closing the walk-through windscreen opening and zipping closed the clears around the aft - the bridge and cockpit area was completely enclosed!! Indeed the boat would make a great water-taxi for anybody that needs a commuter vessel to an island holiday home.

Behind the helm seat from the starboard was a practical galley area with sink, BBQ, refrigerator, and some storage. Additional refrigeration had just been installed by way of cold plate installation in the live bank tank, in the port aft corner of the cockpit from which a thirsty crowd would remain hydrated for some time! Portside was the innovative seating area which had several configurations to suit the number of people onboard. The stylish yet sturdy design took into account to the fisherman's demands while still offering guests comfort in the form of flexible seating (with the ability to face either forward or aft as required) or sliding completely flat into a lounge or day bed.

In terms of power management the 320 DC was equipped with a sophisticated Simarine energy management system completed with roof mounted solar panels, addition deep cycle batteries and a large 3000 Watt Victron Inverter/Charger to power the A/C equipment. The Simarine used interface acts as an energy management system for the captain so as to keep an eye on the battery condition.

Down below portside, was a cabin with double bed, TV and DVD player and fusion stereo which could all be enjoyed in the comfort of this air-conditioned haven. Under the helm to starboard was a spacious head complete with the luxury of a hot shower, and an electric toilet which was plumbed to a black water tank.

The vessel offered good storage throughout and of special mention was the sizable smooth finished storage lockers - which lifted up on gas struts - under the forward lounge seating.

This well-appointed vessel had been kept in immaculate condition by the owner.

She had just completed a comprehensive yard period and was being shed kept in sparkling condition pending her new owner taking delivery. Recent work included the previously mentioned engine service & fresh antifoul. She had just been polished also.
