2015 Selene 58 Ocean Express

Alexander Marine are pleased to present the 2015 Selene 58 Ocean Express 'Fortitude' to the market as worldwide central agents.

'Fortitude' features a teak laid swim platform complete with S/S transom rails across the stern to which a Southern Stainless Cookout gas BBQ and Bait Board are/can be mounted. Entry to her beamy cockpit is via a single entry teak capped transom door off the swim platform. A centre cockpit table (freshly varnished), under the cover of the flybridge hardtop overhang and removable euro shade awning, is a magic space when entertaining a crowd. Remembering also the hallmark Selene raised pilothouse walk around side decks & Portuguese bridge make her a very safe and practical vessel when moving around on deck.

Up on the flybridge which is accessed via an internal staircase from the pilothouse you will find her RIB tender stored aft. Two upholstered custom timber helm chairs provide comfortable seating and an excellent outlook for the skipper and a navigator. In addition to the helm seating the flybridge is equipped with additional upholstered bench seating to port (with lots of storage under). Adjacent is a wet bar with a fridge and ice maker making this area another wonderful entertaining space with elevated views!

Leaving the cockpit as you enter the saloon you are welcomed by the Selene trademark timberwork & craftsmanship. An L-shape settee and dining table is installed to port, looking over to a hi/lo TV (which is wired for Satellite TV) to starboard. A large lounge seat is positioned to starboard in front of the TV for entertaining larger crowd indoors.

Moving forward towards the front of the saloon and to port you will find her spacious U-shaped well-equipped galley, complete with Siemens appliances and featuring light coloured composite benchtops - this area flows nicely onto the internal dining space and will be an entertainer's delight. From the galley you step up three steps to the raised pilothouse greeted by a L- shaped settee and coffee table which are positioned to port, a centreline helm which has excellent vision forward courtesy of the raised pilothouse design. The pilothouse features a starboard pilothouse door for ease of access out onto the side deck.

Entry to the lower deck accommodation is via a staircase to starboard of the helm. The forward VIP cabin features an island double bed with ensuite to starboard. Immediately aft on the portside you will find the twin cabin featuring twin over and under bunks. This cabin shares access to the VIP head across the companionway, which also acts as the day head. Moving aft the full beam midship master offers an island queen bed and ensuite with plenty of storage.

For ease of docking, 'Fortitude' is complete with a bow & stern thruster and wired docking remote. Her Cummins QSL9's power permits a sprint speed approaching 13 knots when required. Importantly she is ABT-Trac zero speed fin stabilised for added comfort.

She has spent her life cruising the East Coast of Australia's coastline and the particularly beautiful waters of the Whitsunday Islands. She is blue water ready to head off again right now!
