2005 Azimut 68S

Alexander Marine are pleased to present the 2005 Azimut 68S 'Four Seas' to the market as worldwide central agents. She is presented to market having just completed a substantial soft furnishings, engineering and electronics upgrade.

'Four Seas' seamlessly combines sportiness and cutting-edge technology, embodying two key design concepts that define this sleek and stunning vessel. Crafted with precision in Italy, the world's largest yacht builder Azimut set out to create a sports model that stood out - and that it did. Stepping on board, one is immediately enveloped in Azimut's design philosophies, promising a superior experience on the open ocean. Described as comfortable, open, and airy, the yacht provides an incredible onboard experience reflecting Azimut's commitment to quality in both design and construction.

Boarding 'Four Seas' is via her large teak laid hi/lo hydraulic swim platform. She is complete with a tender garage which is accessed with the push of a button, and accommodates a 3M Zodiac Cadet 300 Compact RIB. For fishing enthusiasts a Garmin MFD has just been installed complete with an underwater camera to watch the aquatic action right under the boat! The garage offers additional handy storage too. On the starboard side of the transom teak laid steps lead up to the cockpit.

The cockpit is truly an entertainer's delight, with fantastic weather protection well suited to our hot climate, complete with a plethora of lounging and seating options for all guests making it the perfect setting for memorable entertainment on the water. Forward to port is a fore and aft orientated moulded bench seat set around a fixed table - once the saloon door is open this seating area becomes L-shaped as guests can face aft while sitting on the new saloon sofa and utilize the table. Deck chairs could be added to accommodate yet more people around the cockpit table. Adjacent on the starboard side of the cockpit against the saloon bulkhead is a 32" Samsung TV and comprehensive wet bar featuring a Cookout electric BBQ, sink, Vitrifrigo ice maker and Schmick under bench beverage fridge to add to the socializing experience. This is a just a great party space! Glass sliding doors seamlessly connect the cockpit to the recently redecorated saloon, creating a continuous open living space from the windshield to the transom.

The saloon offers a versatile space with the ability to open up to the outdoors when conditions permit. Plush new carpeted flooring complements the refinished furnishings including a large L-shaped lounge to port and a sprawling in-line lounge to starboard. The TV station has been repositioned and is now aft facing and located behind the helm station, from which a new hi/lo 50" Samsung TV is visible all the way aft. The 68S is a model that facilitates and amplifies the enjoyment of indoor and outdoor living, boasting an enormous 65 square feet area of the hard top above the saloon that opens up to the skies. A retractable canopy can also be opened over the cockpit seating area. Electric side windows in the saloon afford natural ventilation otherwise when a sea breeze is absent the vessel is air conditioned throughout.

The helm station, positioned forward of the saloon to port, features two new plush Recaro helm seats as a centrepeice. The captain will enjoy easy access to all helm controls including new triple 16" Garmin 8400 series MFD's, Garmin VHF, new C-Zone digital switching hardware, and a wireless Yacht Controller for docking operations. When underway a camera located in the engine room lets the captain see what is happening in the heart of the vessel. The large wrap-around windows for allow good vision from the helm.

Positioned at the front of the saloon on the starboard side, and accessed by descending a few steps, the galley features a distinctive two-way sliding door that serves as a privacy barrier between the saloon and the staterooms. This thoughtful design allows for effective separation when required. The fully equipped galley includes a new Miele 381L upright fridge, Miele microwave, Schott Ceran four burner electric stove, two stainless steel circular sinks tucked away in the corner, an exhaust fan, and a generously sized opening portlight to introduce natural light.

The guest cabin configuration of 'Four Seas' has been meticulously designed to provide comfortable accommodations for up to six guests plus crew overnight. The midship master cabin spans the full beam and boasts an island queen bed, multiple wardrobes, a spacious private ensuite, a 55" Sony TV, and a table to starboard that doubles as a substantial office desk. The forward VIP cabin includes an island queen bed, multiple hanging lockers and storage drawers, a generously sized circular hatch above for added ventilation and natural light, a complete private ensuite, and a 32" Samsung TV. On the port side, there is a twin guest cabin with two side-by-side single beds, a large circular portlight for additional natural light and fresh air, a 26" Hisense TV, and access to a shared third head. For crew accommodation or use as a storeroom, under the cockpit sole is her crew cabin complete a single bed, sink, toilet, shower, and an opening portlight. Owner operates will find this a great location for additional storage.

For those wanting to experience more of the outdoors and catch some rays, the foredeck sunbed is accessed via her sensible side decks - the foredeck sunpad being a tranquil place to close your eyes and soak up some sun. Her anchoring equipment includes an Anchorlift vertical windlass, Ultra S/S 45kg Anchor with 90m of 10mm chain.

Accessed via a cockpit hatch is her engine room. 'Four Seas' is powered by twin MAN 1360hp V12 engines that rocket her to impressive top speed of 33 knots when required. Her Westerbeke 17 KVA generator takes care of onboard power requirements when away from the dock including the Cruisair air conditioning and new Idromar Watermarker so as you never have to return to the dock.

'Four Seas' not only boasts an exquisite design and meticulous craftsmanship, but with the recent addition of some top-tier technology and just completed significant upgrades and enhancements, she will offer her next owner an exceptional yachting experience.
