The Palm Beach brand is synonymous with bespoke hand-crafted luxury motor yachts - right up to the flagship 70ft Palm Beach model. You know you are in good hands on the water when your boat is designed by professional maxi-yacht skipper Mark Richards who has claimed nine Sydney to Hobart line honours at the helm of Wild Oats XI. Mark is a high achiever who accepts nothing less than perfection. 'North Point' was one of his early builds - indeed just one of two 32 centre console Palm Beach's ever built. The brand is often referred to as the 'sailors power boat'.
Like all Palm Beach hulls 'North Point' offers spirited performance and a super smooth ride. 'North Point's' single v-drive Yanmar engine provides great performance while being economical to operate and maintain. Her bow thruster will assist with returning to the dock.
Her layout includes a large cockpit area with ample shade protection courtesy of a canvas topped fixed S/S framed cockpit bimini. Her design permits ease of access right the way around the extremities of the vessel for the movement of guests when docking, entertaining or fishing. We expect your boat full of friends will enjoy water sports and to that extent they have easy access to the water from the large swim platform complete with a stainless steel swim ladder. An island sunbed is situated in the middle of the cockpit providing seating, or a comfortable day bed, to dwindle the afternoon away at anchor.
Moving forward via the wide walkaround decks you will find a comfortable double seat on the bow. This is a great place to relax, or for those who like the wind in their hair, hang on and enjoy the ride from this prime position on the boat.
Back at the helm 'North Point' is equipped with two helm seats which offer great visibility through her plexiglass curved windshield. For added protection 'North Point' is fitted with clears extend above the top of the windshield up to her GRP hardtop above the helm offering additional protection from the elements and residual spray. The helm station features Raymarine electronics set into a high gloss teak dash and sports steering wheel.
Between the two helm seats is centreline access down to the lower cabin which offers great headroom and is light and airy. The cabin is lined with a light grey suede contrasted by royal blue upholstery and beautiful high gloss teak cabinets and porthole trimmings. The bench space is fitted with a kitchenette including basin and it is the perfect place to prepare light refreshments for guests.
An added feature within the cabin is a built-in head discretely hidden at the front of the cabin between either side of the V berth cushions, perfect for day cruising or an overnight expedition.
