1998 Riviera 40 Aft Cabin

Alexander Marine are pleased to have SOLD this 1998 Riviera 40 Aft Cabin. 

She represented a rare opportunity to acquire a beautifully presented and maintained Riviera Platinum 40 aft cabin from one of Australia's most prestigious yacht builders. Her classic lines were very easy on the eye. 

Upon spending time onboard 'Sea Gypsy' you would learn she was a high-volume vessel for her size and quite capable of coastal cruising. Powered by twin Cummins 315hp (Diamond Series) marine diesel engines, which delivered an impressive top speed of 25 knots. 

Entry up onto the spacious aft deck was via the swim platform and molded staircase. Her aft deck had a full enclosure featuring clears with zippered windows and mesh screens, which was a great bonus around sunset keeping the insects from spoiling your sunset cocktails. Venturing into the saloon to port, there was a generous lounge dinette with a gloss timber table, adjacent loose lounge style chairs with lockers behind.

One step down and you would find a modest u- shaped galley, equipped with under bench refrigeration, hot plates, and a microwave. She was equipped with a lower helm station, with good visibility when underway. When it was time for bed.... Her three cabin air-conditioned layout was nothing less than impressive. A large aft cabin walk-around double bed with your own private ensuite. Forward featured a bow cabin with a large island bed, an overhead bunk cabin to starboard. This configuration was very rare and hard to come by. Owners tend to hang on to them. 

Back on the aft deck, a molded staircase led you to the flybridge, featuring a center-line helm position with a singular helm chair and cruising beds to Port & Starboard with comfortable upholstery. Her dash layout consisted of analog gauges and Raymarine GPS & Sounder units. Four-sided clears with roll-up screens gave you complete weather protection. 'Sea Gypsy's' equipment list was extensive. 

Most important was that the equipment had been constantly upgraded to ensure the highest level of performance, reliability, and comfort.
