The Grand Banks 46 Classic ranks among the finest cruising yachts ever produced. With her timeless trawler profile, seakindly hull, and elegant teak interior the 46 Classic has defined cruising luxury since her introduction in 1985.
Stepping aboard 'Sandpiper" is a joy for lovers of natural wood joinerwork. While exterior teak is restricted to cap rails and decks, the cabin inside glows with warm wood. Teak cabinetry is of the highest caliber, and has a furniture-quality finish and craftsmanship. The lower helm to starboard features excellent visability an aray of electronics with dual helm door providing excellent ventillation and natural light adjacent to port a unquie breakfast bar with stools.
This optional layout configuration provides for a galley down allows for a large U - shaped galley which features dual door full size refrigeration with plenty of storage with gas appliances. Guests will stay in the forward stateroom, which offers a V-berth with a full head with a separate stall shower to starboard, fwd a washer/dryer is located. An L- shaped lounge configuration, abaft the helm to starboard allows for entertaining large groups.
Aft the master stateroom features a walk-around queen-size berth providing even more storage space under and a corner vanity with seperate head and shower.
There is easy access to the flybridge, via the aft deck stairway that leads to the centre line helm station. The vantage point of the helm station gives generous visibility for both cruising and manoeuvring. A large lounge compliments the bridge area for guests to relax and enjoy the view.
