We expanded our team to better serve our valued New Zealand clients: in the early part of the year, Yacht Sales Executive Kelvin Gorrie joined Special Projects Executive James Purves, ensuring dedicated representation across both the North and South Islands.

We also launched the new Alexander Marine New Zealand website, giving you easier access to our local listings, the latest premium brokerage deals, and news from the prestigious yacht brands we are proud to represent.  Additionally, participating in the 2025 Auckland Boat Show provided us with the opportunity to connect with New Zealand yacht buyers and sellers to understand their unique requirements first hand.

2025 saw our team masterminding some significant New Zealand based transactions, firmly positioning Alexander Marine New Zealand as a trusted partner for premium yacht brokerage and acquisitions both into and out of New Zealand, delivering outstanding results for Buyers and Sellers within New Zealand and abroad. Recent transaction highlights include the sale of the Outer Reef 630 'Amokura', the Horizon E84 Skylounge 'Luna', and the Grand Banks 53 Aleutian Raised Pilothouse 'Cabana' motor yacht.

Recently Sold & Settled

A standout example of another well executed expert yacht transaction is the recent sale and delivery of the 2016 Horizon E84 'Luna' (ex 'Kokomo'), which settled in Auckland with the assistance of Yacht Sales Executive Kelvin Gorrie before commencing her international delivery voyage on her own keel to Australia.

‘Luna’ was sold off-market to an Alexander Marine customer. Prior to Alexander Marine New Zealand’s involvement ‘Luna’ had been on the market for an extended period of time with a range of New Zealand based brokers before we stepped in and promptly transacted the sale.

Led by Special Projects Executive James Purves, our experienced delivery crew departed Gulf Harbour Marina on 15th September, refuelling in Opua, while also carrying additional fuel on deck for the long-range passage. The crew successfully arrived in Southport on 22nd September after covering nearly 1,350 nautical miles.

This transaction & delivery voyage highlights Alexander Marine’s capability, professionalism, and reputation as a trusted authority in premium yacht brokerage across the region.
