Ocean Alexander Announces Sale of New 32L To First Time OA Owner

As the exclusive importer and distributor of Ocean Alexander in Australia and New Zealand, we are pleased to announce the recent sale and closing of a new 32 Legend to a first time Ocean Alexander owner in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Transacted by Bruce Siler, Ocean Alexander Brand Manager for MarineMax, with Steve Hall of Great Southern Yacht Sales representing the buyer.

The sale followed a highly personal and direct presentation process. Rather than beginning in a showroom or at a boat show, the conversation took place aboard the owner’s previous yacht, a 2020 92-foot vessel, where Siler presented the Ocean Alexander 32L in detail on an iPad. That one meeting proved decisive, and the client moved forward with the purchase shortly thereafter.

The buyer was drawn to the 32L for its classic hull design and spacious open arrangement, a combination that immediately set the model apart. Ocean Alexander’s 32L is known for blending commanding exterior lines with a highly livable layout, five staterooms, and an on-deck owner’s cabin designed as a private retreat for the owner. The model also emphasizes expansive windows, enhanced crew circulation, and larger living spaces inspired by design strategies more often associated with much larger yachts.

“This was a meaningful sale from the very beginning,” said Siler. “It was the client’s first Ocean Alexander, and being able to present the 32L in such a personal setting made the process especially memorable. The design made an immediate impact. He responded to the hull lines, the openness of the arrangement, and the feeling of space throughout the yacht.”

Built for both luxury and capability, the Ocean Alexander 32L measures 106’ 7” in maximum length, with a 23’ 2” beam, and is powered by twin MAN V12 1900 horsepower engines. The yacht carries 4,000 gallons of fuel and offers substantial interior volume at 210 gross tons, reinforcing its position as a long-range yacht with the scale and presence expected in this class.
