Celebrating its 34th anniversary in 2025, the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) is an essential event for superyachting aficionados. Since 1991, Port Hercule in Monaco has transformed into a showcase of elegance and innovation, bringing together the latest and most expected collection of superyachts of the year.

Monaco and yachting share a timeless history. Historically, the Principality has always been a natural destination for the global elite and a favourite for yachting enthusiasts. Today, the glamorous and festive atmosphere of Monaco allows MYS visitors to dive into a world of refinement and exclusivity, offering an extraordinary experience and shaping the yachting of tomorrow.

Each year, the world’s elite builders and brokers present over 120 superyachts and around sixty luxury tenders at the MYS, all vying for sophistication and refinement. Among the major units on display, around forty new launches within the year reflect the latest market trends. With an average fleet length of 50 metres and mega yachts over 100 metres, the MYS invites you aboard a collection of superyachts like no other.

Amongst the dazzling array of yachts on display, Alexander Marine would like to highlight both the Moonen & Zeelander Yacht displays.

 

Moonen 122 Martinique 'Cocoon'

Having transacted three Moonen 84 Brokerage Yachts to date, including 'Willow', the Moonen 84 sistership 'Amphitrite' and the Moonen 84 sistership charter yacht 'Aurora', Alexander Marine's global yacht acquisitions & superyachts division are proud of our growing association with the esteemed Moonen shipyard. We look forward to transacting more vessels from the Moonen shipyard who are masters in the unique craft of steel yacht building!

To strengthen the Moonen Yachts relationship, Alexander Marine Australia Dealer Principal / Director Todd Holzapfel visited the Moonen shipyard in the Netherlands this July, where he inspected first-hand the progress of multiple new Moonen Yachts currently under construction. Amongst those were two Moonen 36m Martinique’s.

Moonen Yachts will display the stunning Moonen 122 Martinique 'Cocoon' (37.8m/345GT) in partnership with IYC: The International Yacht Company at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show.

Built with Moonen’s bespoke approach to yacht building, 'Cocoon' reflects the extensive customisation made possible for our clients, including a 1.5m swim platform extension and a bespoke paint scheme tailored to the owners’ vision.

Her Scandinavian-inspired interior was designed by Andreas Martin-Löf Arkitekter (Sweden) and expertly crafted by the Moonen in-house team. 'Cocoon' features a bold dark hull and a seamless connection between indoor comfort and outdoor luxury.

Zeealander 8 'Silver Dawn'

Multiple hulls have now been sold - such is the popularity of the Zeelander Yachts' latest masterpiece - the Zeelander 8 model - is making waves for its breath taking presentation and performance. On his recent tour of the Zeelander factory in the Netherlands, Alexander Marine Australia Dealer Principal / Director Todd Holzapfel witnessed a bespoke Zeelander 8 in build and can testify first-hand to the design and contemporary sophistication of this model.

The flagship and largest model in the Zeelander fleet is now premiering as 'Silver Dawn' at the Monaco Yacht Show.

The Zeelander 8 embodies an enchanting blend of sleek contours and refined elegance, marking a new chapter in the legacy of modern motor yachts.

'Silver Dawn' features exterior design by Cor D. Rover Design and interior design by Zeelander Yachts, with naval architecture by Sea Level (Amsterdam, Netherlands). With an overall length of 23.9 m, a beam of 6.4 m and a volume of 85 GT, she accommodates up to 9 guests in addition to 3 crew members, including the ship's captain. 'Silver Dawn' has a GRP hull and superstructure.
