DESCRIPTION & DETAILS
Alexander Marine Australia's global yacht acquisitions & superyachts division are pleased to present the 1997 Delta Marine 37m Motor Yacht ‘Probability’.
Recently Inspected by Alexander Marine in January 2026!
From the moment you step aboard ‘Probability’, it’s clear this is a tri-deck motor yacht built to an uncompromising standard. Constructed by the highly respected Delta Marine shipyard in the United States, ‘Probability’ is a superb example of the 122’ series, renowned for its proven ocean-going capability, intelligent layout, and enduring American craftsmanship.
She has enjoyed impeccable care since launch, with a continuous maintenance regime supported by detailed documentation and technical oversight. Her immaculate engine room, freshly presented interior, and robust systems reflect a legacy of professional management and an owner with a deep commitment to operational excellence.
Access to the main deck is via wide walkaround side decks, which offer excellent circulation and privacy between guest and crew spaces. Upon entering the main salon, guests are welcomed into a spacious, light-filled environment, framed by large house-side windows with electric shades. Soft furnishings, curated artwork, and rich anigre and maple burl cabinetry create a refined yet inviting atmosphere. A built-in console with decorative columns subtly defines the transition between the lounge and formal dining area, where a polished timber table comfortably seats eight. Cabinetry below the windows houses crystal, china, and silverware, supporting elegant onboard entertaining.
To port, a dedicated entry foyer with marble tile soles connects the salon to the exterior deck. Opposite, a recessed niche offers space for decorative objects or a statement art piece. Further forward, the guest entry foyer features a private side-deck entrance, providing discrete access for guests arriving by tender or from shore. From here, the day head, galley, and VIP stateroom can be conveniently accessed.
Positioned forward on the main deck, the VIP stateroom benefits from sweeping views through large hull-side windows, softened by electric shades for privacy. A centerline berth is flanked by nightstands and ample drawer storage, while the private ensuite is appointed with marble floors, a walk-in shower, and elegant finishes—offering guests a level of comfort and privacy more typically found in owner’s cabins on yachts of this size.
A staircase from the guest foyer leads down to the guest accommodation on the lower deck. Here, two generously proportioned staterooms—one double and one twin—are located to port and starboard. Each cabin features beautiful maple and Birdseye maple joinery, side-by-side single beds in the twin, ample wardrobe space, and private ensuites with premium fixtures. Aft of this guest foyer, the full-beam owner’s suite provides a private retreat, complete with a king-size bed, generous storage, a writing desk, and a separate vanity. Dual bathrooms are located port and starboard, joined by a central shower, finished in marble and granite to create a serene, spa-like ambiance.
The crew area is accessed via a private stairwell from the galley and is designed for both comfort and functionality. The crew lounge includes an L-shaped settee with a dining table, a dedicated galley with Corian countertops, and integrated laundry facilities. Two crew cabins—each with bunk berths and private bathrooms—offer accommodation for up to five crew members, ensuring the yacht can operate to high standards on extended voyages. The captain’s cabin is well-appointed with a double berth, desk, and ensuite, located aft of the lounge for convenience and oversight.
Up one level, the sky lounge offers panoramic views and a relaxed atmosphere, ideal for movie nights or sunset drinks. Large windows flood the space with natural light, while a fully appointed bar with stainless refrigeration and ice maker supports entertaining in style. To starboard, a comfortable lounge area and coffee table provide an informal space to unwind, while a day head and direct access to the upper aft deck make this a highly versatile living area.
Forward of the sky lounge is the wheelhouse, featuring updated navigational electronics and three helm chairs with excellent visibility across the five-pane windscreen. Port and starboard doors provide access to the Portuguese bridge, with wide exterior decks offering safe passage forward to the bow.
Exterior living is a highlight aboard ‘Probability’. The covered aft deck offers a central teak dining table with seating for eight, making it a natural gathering point for meals at anchor. Teak steps lead down to the swim platform, equipped with removable stainless handrails, pop-up tender cleats, and a stowable swim ladder. From here, the yacht’s watertoys can be launched, or guests can simply enjoy easy access to the water.
The upper deck provides expansive outdoor space with a forward banquette and dining table, surrounded by lounge chairs and generous storage. Twin davits to port and starboard allow for easy deployment of the tender and personal watercraft, while also enabling the area to be cleared for entertaining or additional relaxation.
Crowning the yacht is the flybridge, an open-air escape designed for all-day enjoyment. A centrally located helm station is flanked by wing stations, upholstered Stidd helm chairs, and a forward-facing cushioned bench seat. A wet bar, hot tub, and shaded lounges complete the scene—creating a spectacular setting whether underway or at anchor.
At the heart of ‘Probability’s' performance is a robust mechanical platform, featuring twin MTU 16V2000 engines and dual 65kW Phasor generators. Quantum Zero Speed stabilisers ensure comfort at sea and at rest, while an Atlas Marine shore power converter allows for effortless global cruising. Her systems are intelligently laid out, with excellent redundancy and tankage for long-range passages.
A yacht of this pedigree and presentation rarely comes to market. For buyers seeking a capable, classically styled tri-deck yacht with genuine bluewater performance and a pristine ownership record, ‘Probability’ is an outstanding opportunity.
