'Martina', a 19m Doggersbank design originally launched in 1985 and comprehensively refitted in 2018 back to bare steel by Zeelander Yachts in Holland, is one such example. You're then greeted by a generous U-shaped seating area and a centreline helm station with commanding views, with two helm chairs making this a favourite spot while underway. Behind the helm, stepping down the stairs is the galley and a unique round dining area, a standout example of her 2018 modernisation. A more ergonomic layout makes it a proper seagoing galley, capable, safe, and pleasant to work in whether preparing passage meals or hosting guests.
